“Magic Gratitude Challenge” Day 19 – Magic Footsteps
Today’s challenge is inspired by Einstein. Not only did he unravel secrets of physics, but he understood the importance of gratitude to those who came before and left benefits for us. Einstein said, “A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.” Einstein felt gratitude for the benefits he had from those who came before him. And the more we can do that, too, the more we will be living in happiness. If it seems like a good idea to Einstein, it’s probably a good idea for us, too! Today we think about following in the footsteps of those who came before us with GRATITUDE!
1. Write 10 things you are grateful for.
2. Take 100 steps of gratitude today. You don’t necessarily have to count each step, but just know that 90 seconds of walking at a normal pace will be about 100 steps.
3. The important thing is, with each step send out GRATITUDE for someone who came before you and/or something others did that is now a benefit for you. Rhonda Byrne suggests saying, “Thank you” with each step.
4. For extra inspiration and knowledge read Day 19 of “The Magic” book. You might also want to read (or get the FREE audio trial of) “The Secret” for even deeper understanding.
5. Before bed, hold your magic rock and say thanks for the best thing that happened today.
